Born in Budapest in 1966, László Kollár-Klemencz studied landscape architecture and hippology. A riding trainer living in a farmhouse in the countryside, Kollár-Klemencz is also a well-known member of Budapest underground life, singer and songwriter of the alternative group Kistehén and scriptwriter-director of short films. Kollár-Klemencz has two volumes to his name, published by Magvető: Why Do Things Move Away? (2015) and The Life of Plastic Garden Chairs (2018)
